What is TEKST?

TEKST (pronounced “text”) is a style of art that is made by warping, twisting and distorting words into the very thing they are describing.

TEKST designs are created using both cutting edge technology and old (nearly forgotten) techniques to create visual representations of powerful quotes. 

TEKST entered the scene by creating and selling a different original art piece every single day for a year. He has created book covers for bestselling books, music videos with major record labels, tour posters for multi Grammy winning artists, and hand painted a 3,000+ word mural onto a BMW M5.

Artwork by TEKST hangs in the homes of Stephen Colbert, Chuck Palahniuk, Gary Vaynerchuk, Jason Mraz, Alexis Ohanian, as well as fans across all 50 US States and over 30 countries around the globe.

http://www.tekstartist.com After 3 years of getting paid to wear t-shirts for a living, I wanted to create a project that highlighted the 914 sponsors that participated. With the help of TEKSTartist, over 3,000 words were hand-painted on my BMW M5 in 80 hours over a 4 day period.
